Cook Allender Debuts “I’m Your OCD”
October 3, 2025 · Press release
Cook Allender introduced “I’m Your OCD” on October 3, 2025, bringing melodic alternative rock together with a cinematic story and a psychological-thriller twist. The track marked the first single from his forthcoming debut album through VibraHive Records and Symphonic Distribution.
A New Orleans native now based in Nashville, Cook drew on his years in filmmaking to shape vivid lyrical stories, layered vocals, and emotive guitar riffs. His love of ’90s alternative rock is at the center of the sound.
“I’m a storyteller at heart,” Cook said in the release, describing songs that feel like miniature movie scripts set to music.
The announcement also introduced the mission behind the project: supporting animal shelters and charities that help pets receive care, inspired by Cook’s Blue Heeler, Max.
“I’m Your OCD” is now part of Cook’s debut album, Music Your Parents Hate.
